OK so here we are having a bit of fun at Mom's, Cash liked to play on pepper. We are not sure if pepper enjoyed be played on, but Cash was having a good time, so that is what matters here. Anna is not much of a mint person but she did take half of a mint ball from Steve and ate sitting on Mom's lap. Ruthann didn't want Anna to sit with Steve and have people confused as why I would sit on his lap. Funny sock are on Alex and Anna. And Ruthann had a good talk with her friend Elmo.

So what that did the other family's do that were snowed in or out of state. Yes we would love to here about your Christmas day.

Funny Story

Today was baking day at our house. OK really it started last night making the dough for the cookies you see here. When Byron and I got the kids off to school we set out to cooking cookies. He would cut them out and I would cook them. Well it came down to the lest dozen or so and I turn around and he has all the little men lined up. And says to me I made a gingerbread army. Yes he would be the one at the top leading the men. After all he is a SFC now. We also made bread.

Christmas Party 2008

Cannon is growing and getting cuter every day. He was so good and not fussy at all.

Brandi got all tuckered out with all the excitement, couldn't even get her clothes off before she fell asleep. ( I will have to admit this was a reenactment, she caught me when I was taking the first one. It was even better than this one.)

Trinity was not going to smile for anything. She had a fun time when we were playing Bingo. We used Smarties (the USA ones) for the markers and she enjoyed sucking on a package of them. She is talking and crawling and getting active. and just a good little baby.. We sure have been blessed with some great grandkids, we love them all.

Everyone seemed to enjoy it and no one went away hungry! Karlie had something that their table laughing. Fun was had by all.

Let's see - what shall I put on my taco. Hum - beans, cheese, meat, sour cream, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, guacamole,? Maybe all of them!

Ryker made sure his hands we clean so he could eat! Good boy! We had a wonderful time, and missed those who were unable to make it. Everybody went away with at least one candy bar and from the sound of the noise had a fun time trying to win their favorite. The White Elephants were also a hit. Ask Clay about his mug - those of you who weren't there!

Wonder of all wonders

Now for the wonders of all wonders!!!!! This is now installed in our kitchen! No fooling! It dispenses water and ice, both cubes and crushed!! WOW!!! Now I expect a large donation from each of you after all your harassment. It even has bells and whistles. It lets me know if I keep the door open too long or if the power has been off and a few other things. I feel right up town.

Baptism for Nicholas

Saturday I went to Nicholas's baptism. His father Chris is my nephew (Wayne's Son). It was very nice and I was excited to be invited. Afterwards we had lunch at their home which was also very yummy. I think a lot of you met them at Calen's wedding.

Zoo lights. I know some of you will be in town next week for the family party. Come in on friday and take the kids to see the zoo light. We took Liz and Ray and had a fun time.

Our new digs

We have made it to Colorado and we are doing great. Cash has even found himself a new crib or a really good babysitter!! Our house is pretty nice, on the inside, the outsides all look the same, like military housing. We have finished unpacking and we have even managed to get Christmas all set up. Morgan started work the day after we arrived but so far it has just been a lot of training classes and paperwork. He starts his job on Friday - we think. - Morgan, Des and Cash
