I am also glad he is on his way home. Glad he went and got to do something new and see new things but I am always happy when he is home.

We are going to go and see what we can of the city, it will be our last chance. I love you and will talk to you Thursday morning. Fuzzy

Blake's Eagle Court of Honor

This is the long lost picture - See down below. I must learn how to edit better!

We went to Blake's Eagle Court of Honor February 28, 2009. I keep waiting for Karie to post some of the pictures but I don't see any so I will post a few. She can still post some others. We had a good time at the ceremony and then went back to their place for Pizza. His other grandparents were also there, and Byron and Anna and family. Later that night we played games. Some of you that played in the motel room at Grandma's funeral will remember the card game. What a time! We all had a great time. Thanks for putting up with us Karie and Brian.
Buy the way Brian did an outstanding job on the program - it was great!

"I think I am the most important person at this shindig!" says Trinity

"No, I think the whole thing is about me and my accomplishments." replies Blake. "But I will share with my cousin." Blake doing his Eagle Charge.

Karie trying to get the neckerchief slide on - maybe she should have practiced. Just kidding - you did a great job.

Blake all decked out as a new Eagle Scout. We are very proud on him and all the work he did. And for all those who helped him a big Thank You!!!

And then there was the important part - eating. Karie had a cake made with the scout emblem on it. It looked so good you hated to cut it. It must have been good because it all disappeared.

And according to Trinity it was really good - and I suddenly lost the picture. Oh well maybe I can put it somewhere else. I'm sure if you see it you will know what it is about.

"Oh no! The turkey is going to get me!"

This horse is sure fun to ride. I just hope Grandma doesn't knock me off it!
( Some of you will get the humor. When we were there for the pumpkin weigh off I was holding Cash on the horse while some pictures were being taken and let him slip off - some say I pushed him off because I wanted to ride.)

We had a great time and we proud of Blake getting his Eagle. We are proud to have three Eagle grandsons and look forward to having many more.

Byron #3

Anyone reading this? Should I keep posting from Byron?

I will say that these 12 hr shifts (which usually turn out to be 14 hrs) are wearing on me. I'm tired but have a hard time sleeping in this open bay with about 200 of us in it. the majority seem to work days but there are enough people in and out that it makes it hard to sleep. I would love to tell you what I am doing, but like I said earlyer I can't. I will tell you this Korea is not what I was expecting the city we are in is in the mountains, in fact most of Korea is mountainous. There are 2 other camps all within a few miles of us and the are all surrounded by the city. I have taken a few pictures and will take more this weekend when we get a chance to get out. I don't know what we are doing but we are going to get out.

So I asked him what he is doing and he couldn't tell me. I hope he will be able to when he gets home. When I e-mailed him it was snowing here. And I took out all the love you and miss yous
Anna

its not snowing here but it's cold enough that if it rained it could turn to snow. the bay is starting to smell like dirty socks. this exercise is very interesting, i have never had to deal with anything like this expecially at this level. We have already started to count down the days, actually that started when we got here.

I'm glad Byron went to Korea so there was something new on our blog. I'm afraid I've been rather neglectful. I did get my "Aztec" quilt top all put together and it is georgeous if I do say so myself. Now I just have to work a few more days so I can afford to buy the backing and pay to have it quilted. All of the sudden I have had lots of jobs. In the last two weeks I have only missed 1 day. and I'm going in for a half day tomorrow and a full day the next day. Most of it has been at the same school. They Love me!!!!! one of the kids the other day said she wanted me for her teacher and when I said she would miss her regular teacher she said I could be the regular teacher and the other one could be the substitute. First graders can sometimes be so cute. We had a great time in Idaho for Blake's court of honor to receive his eagle. If Karie doesn't get some pictures posted soon I'll put some of mine on. The end of the month Dad and I are going to go to Canada for Carson's wedding. I think we will leave on Wed. 25 and go as far as Karies and spend the night and then go the rest of the way. However is Dad doesn't have a driving job we will leave Wednesday morning. Then we will come back Monday. We are looking forward to going to the Draper Temple dedication in two weeks. We won't be able to be at the temple but will be seeing it at the Stake house, but it will still be exciting.

note from Korea

We made it, and we have internet in the bay. Its 4:30 in the AM. We arrived in Seoul at about 10 PM, waited for an hour for the bus then took a 4 hour bus ride . We got here at 3:00 and after in processing and finding our bunks I decided to take a shower and write. The bay here has about 85 bunks in it, they are almost filled, so our group is spreed out all over the place. The 1st I will try to write everyday. Tell the kids I love them and I miss you all. Love you and I hope you miss me.
Fuzzy from Korea

How many of you even knew he was going to Korea?
