SKIING IN ARIZONA

We went up to Sunrise resort to go skiing for the day.

Nolynn is almost as hairy as old smokey the bear!

I always forget to post the pictures in reverse order - oh well that's me! Anyway we got a surprise visit from Morgan and Desiree this weekend. Her Grandfather passed away and the funeral was Thursday so they came for it. They stayed at Nelson's but we saw them for awhile. Cash remembered us and he was Grandma's little boy for awhile.

He has learned how to play the piano and loves to make a noise. He thought it was great when I would press the button that made it play by itselfCash has also just about mastered the stairs. He learned to turn around to go down,
but he still needs a bit of back up - meaning, we stand behind him and he does down. He's doing really good!

My oh my! Where do all these little pieces go?

I sure hope I haven''t made any mistakes! And this only about 1/3 of it done. At this rate it may take me the rest of my life. And then there is all the sewing all these little pieces together.

Oh well! I am loving it and I am soooo excited to do it. I'm getting so brave that soon I may even get started on the Kalidoscope quilt that I've been wanting to do but felt I needed a little more experience first.

While I was on the cutting mood I also got another top cut out and ready to start on when this one is done.

And yesterday I used my magic mill and made flour from my wheat and made brown bread and it was delicious. Thanks for the mill everyone. And then I used the KitchenAid that Dad gave me for Christmas to make the bread. It worked fabulous!

Time in Canada for Mom's funeral

This is the arrangement that you guys got. It was beautiful. Because of the bad weather I left it in the lobby of the motel.

We found out that Cash gets a "little" bit jealous when I pick up Trinity, so I would have to hold them both.

This is Carson's girlfriend and I found out yesterday that they are now engaged!

This is at the dinner after the Service. They had a very nice meal of roast beef, Potatoes, gravy, salads, rolls etc. It was very nice. I went around taking pictures of most of the people but there are too many to post, and a lot of them you wouldn't know so I will post those you should know.

Looks like Trinity knows what is good. And anyone had a hard time trying to hold Trinity...Ruth Ann had dibs on her most of the time. And Trinity loved her.

Nights at the motel was a card game in this room. They seemed to have a good time. I thought I could watch the two babies while their parents played but all of the sudden Trinity realized her mom wasn't there and let out a blood curdling sound and so I had to take her back, but Ruth Ann took over and she was an angel.

Mackenzie got a four generation picture. Dad thought she was pretty special, and was having fun holding her.

Cash learned to flush the toilet on our watch........

And Trinity thought Snickers would make a great dinner.....

And Grandpa and his little buddy watched football together.

Jane had everyone over for dinner the day the kids got there. There were 33 there. One of her friends brought in dinner and plenty of it. The 3 kids on the left are Ace's kids, Then there is Aunt Cheryl, Cole, Calen, and Cade

There is Clay, Kris,, Ruth Ann, Steve, and Randie's girl Zoe. In the background is Ace and his wife Wendy.


And I guess that is all. I am so proud of you all for making it up there. I know Grandpa really appreciated you coming. I meant a lot. Nolynn I know how much you wanted to be there. They all understood that sometimes it just isn't possible. As most of you know Uncle Wayne didn't make it either and I'm sure he wanted to also. Weather and Airfare played havoc. Maybe at a later date I can post some other pictures.
