This is the Hilda Payne Romeril group that was able to make it to the Payne Reunion last week-end. I can't say for everyone else but I had a wonderful time. I saw so many cousins I had not seen for years.
There were about 80 people there which we thought was great for a first year. Hilda had 5 families represented. Wayne, Ruth, Fae, Jane, Nolan, Clark. There was a good group of Aunt Mary's family from Arizona that also made it. Out of the 10 children there were representatives from Mary, Olaf, Harold, Hilda, Billy there. We are going to have the next reunion the 3rd Saturday in August, 2010. They decided to have it every two years. Clark and I are going to be in charge of it so give us lots of ideas. Wayne and Karole left early so they weren't in the picture. Thanks for those who made it.
Jane, Clark, Nolan, Ruth, and Ralph Smith. This is one of our cousins that didn't make it to the Reunion before everyone had left. We had really hoped he would be there so I called him Sunday morning and found out they went but everyone had gone so he came over that evening and we got to visit with him.
